LAHORE (92 News) – BNP chief Akhtar Mengal called on PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz at Jati Umrah on Tuesday.

Both leaders agreed to give a tough time to the Balochistan government. They also agreed to decide the future of the Balochistan government in the next meeting of the PDM.

They declared the public meetings organized by the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) successful. They also agreed to adopt a joint stance on the PDM platform.

Talking to the media, BNP chief Akhtar Mengal said that only rallies and public meetings would not work out. "There should be some 'Dama Dam Mast Qalandar' (commotion)," he added.

He said that investigations into the mandate theft should be held. "Our direction is correct and we do not take U-turn," he added.

The BNP chief said that Balochistan had been facing a sense of deprivation since long. "It is the reason I parted my ways with Imran Khan," he added.

He said that the PTI government could not fulfill the promises made with them. "The opposition should fully respond to the revengeful activities of the government," he maintained.
