KARACHI (92 News) – PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz said that the government should not blackmail her and arrest her if she has some courage.

Addressing a press conference along with JUI-F chief Maulana Fazalur Rehman and PPP leader Raja Pervaiz Ashraf on Monday, she said that she knew what type of the game was being played.

"The word of a government above the government had proved to be true," she maintained.

The PML-N vice-president said that Bilawal Bhutto had phoned her. "Bilawal Bhutto said that they are ashamed. We cannot think of doing so with my sister," she added.

Maryam Nawaz said that they did not consider it an action of the Sindh government for a single moment.

JUI-F chief Maulana Fazalur Rehman said that those wishing a rift in the opposition had failed. "The PTI workers had also resorted to hooliganism at the Mazar-e-Quaid," he added.

PPP leader Raja Pervaiz Ashraf said that the incident points out nervousness of the federal government.

Sindh Information Minister Syed Nasir Shah said that they are ashamed before Maryam Nawaz and Fazalur Rehman.

Meanwhile in a tweet, Maryam Nawaz said that she had left for Lahore. She also thanked Karachiites, saying they have won her heart.
