Maryam Nawaz, Capt (r) Safdar returns Pakistan today

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Maryam Nawaz, daughter of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif and her husband Captain (r) Safdar will reach Pakistan today (Sunday). Maryam Nawaz and Capt (r) Safdar had decided to return to the homeland to face corruption trial. The former PM’s daughter declared the process of accountability a revenge and said that Hassan and Hussain will decide if they would appear before the court or not. The accountability court had summoned Maryam, Hassan, Hussain Nawaz and Capt (r) Safdar in a corruption reference against the Sharif family for October 9. Maryam Nawaz and Capt (r) Safdar have consulted their counsels with regard to the reference. The accountability court had issued bailable warrants for Maryam, while non-bailable warrants for Capt (r) Safdar. According to sources, the NAB officials are bound to arrest Capt (r) Safdar.
