Maryam Nawaz gets her passport back from LHC

LAHORE (92 News) - PML-N vice-president Maryam Nawaz got her passport back from the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday.

The court had ordered the authorities to return her passport.

Talking to the media, she said that she had received her passport after three years. "Why was I deprived of my passport for three years. They imprisoned me when I went to meet my father. The NAB detained me illegally for 57 days. The NAB could not file a reference against me till now," she added.

She said that the return of Ishaq Dar is a slap in the face of the PTI. "Ishaq Dar has steered the country out of crises several times. The rupee has stabilized after the return of Ishaq Dar," she maintained.
