Maryam Nawaz serves Rs 1b defamation notice on Naeemul Haq

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz has served a legal notice on PTI spokesman Naeemul Haq for leveling a baseless allegation against her. She has sent the notice of Rs1b defamation suit, stating that suspicion has been expressed towards her patriotism through the baseless allegation. “The allegation has damaged her respect, dignity and reputation. Naeemul Haq should tender an apology within seven days or pay Rs 1b as compensation,” she said. Naeemul Haq had said that Maryam Nawaz had informed the English daily’s journalist about the security meeting.
