Maryam Nawaz Shifted to jail from Lahore’s Services hospital

LAHORE (92 News) – Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz was shifted to Kot Lakhpat Jail in strict security after being discharged from the Lahore’s Services Hospital on Thursday early morning. Maryam Nawaz who came to Services Hospital to inquire the health of her ailing father Nawaz Sharif was admitted to the same hospital after deteriorating on Wednesday. She had been admitted to VVIP ll, while her father was under treatment in VVIP-l. After meeting her father, she expressed her concern over the health of Nawaz Sharif. Prior to her meeting with Nawaz Sharif, she met the doctors. She was brought to hospital from jail amid tight security. Maryam Nawaz underwent several tests, including CBC, in hospital. She was given special permission by the federal government to see her ailing father at the hospital. On Monday, son of DG NAB Saleem Shahzad donated blood to Nawaz Sharif. Dr Tahir Shamsi, a bone marrow specialist from Karachi, conducted the medical examination of Nawaz Sharif. The Punjab government allowed Maryam Nawaz to meet her ailing father Nawaz Sharif in Services Hospital. Earlier, an accountability court in Lahore rejected Maryam Nawaz’s request to be granted an hour to meet her father in the hospital. The PML-N vice president made the request during court proceedings in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.
