Maryam Nawaz suffering from high fever: PML-N
LAHORE (92 News) - PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb on Sunday informed that Maryam Nawaz has contracted high fever and is experiencing severe pain in her throat.
In a statement, Marriyum Aurangzeb mentioned that Maryam Nawaz has suspended her political activities for four days. "She has also gotten herself tested for coronavirus," she added.
She further told that the PML-N leader has been told by doctors to rest, adding that she attended a Lahore High Court hearing the other day despite being sick.
According to the JUI-F sources, PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman was unwell, with catching a fever. "He has been suffering from a fever for the past two days. "e is currently at his Dera Ismail Khan residence," it added.
The sources also said the JUI-F chief had gotten himself tested for coronavirus and the result came back negative. "Maulana Fazlur Rehman has suspended political activities [for the time being] as he is unwell," said sources. "Doctors have advised him to rest."
On the other hand, fifty-seven more deaths due to coronavirus have been reported across the country during the last twenty-four hours.
According to latest statistics issued by National Command and Operation Center, 4,767 new positive cases have been reported in the country after conducting tests of 45,656 people during the same period.
The death toll due to Covid-19 pandemic has now reached 14,215 while 595,929 patients stand recovered from the disease.
