LAHORE (92 News) – Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz regretted on Tuesday that she was not allowed to meet former prime minister Nawaz Sharif in Kot Lakhpat Jail. Marryam Nawaz said that Nawaz Sharif’s life is in danger. Reacting to the tweet of Sharif’s personal physician, she said that she had not been allowed to meet her father despite his precarious health. In her tweet, she said she asked for permission to see the PML-N supreme leader to inquire about his health but was not allowed to meet him. “I just wanted to say that what is befalling us today will befall you tomorrow,” she said, adding that a reminder is necessary because the act of retribution is unavoidable. She said: “How ruthless someone could be who doesn’t allow a daughter to meet her father on the occasion of Eid.” “The politics of injustice, hatred and revenge should not forget that almighty Allah is the only power in this world,” she added. Earlier, the PML-N supremo s personal physician Dr Adnan in his tweet said, he met and examined the former PM in Jail. He said, “Yesterday around 04 AM in the morning Sharif felt unwell and breathless, requested guards to open cell door as he choked.” The physician said: "It took a while for him to settle after using sublingual nitrate spray. His life is at risk. This is a warning." It is pertinent to mention here that Nawaz Sharif is serving his seven-year term in the Al-Azizia reference.
