Mashal Khan Case: SC orders to present report within 15 days

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The Supreme Court has on Thursday ordered to present the second investigation report in connection with the barbaric murder of Journalism student Mashal Khan in the next 15 days.

A three-member bench of the Supreme Court headed by Justice Saqib Nisar resumed hearing of the case.

During the proceedings, a report regarding progress in investigation into the murder of Mashal was presented before the court.

The apex court was informed that 36 accused have so far been arrested in connection with the murder while the main culprit is still at large.

Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Mian Saqib Nisar remarked that the court doesn’t want to interfere but more time should not be wasted.

The court directed that the evidence should be sent to Lahore for forensic tests.

The court adjourned the hearing of Mashal Khan murder case for fifteen days.
