Mashal’s father demands case be transferred to Peshawar

PESHAWAR (92 News) – Iqbal Khan, father of slain Mashal Khan, the journalism student at Mardan University has on Monday declared the accused involved in the murder of his son influential and demanded the authorities to shift the case from Mardan to Peshawar.

Addressing a press conference in Peshawar on Monday, he said that the JIT report proved the innocence of his son.

Iqbal Khan appealed the provincial government for financial assistance as he cannot pay heavy fees of the lawyers.

He demanded the authorities to include the names of all current and former officials of Mardan university in the Exit Control List (ECL).
