Mastung blast death toll rises to 59, suicide attack case registered in Quetta

QUETTA (92 News) - Seven more people injured in the Mastung blast died on Saturday, increasing the death toll to 59.

Over 100 people were injured in the attack.

On the other hand, the suicide attack case has been registered at the Quetta Counter Terrorism Department police station. Sections pertaining to the murder, attempt to murder, terrorism and Explosives Act have been added to the FIR.

According to the preliminary investigation, the blast was a suicide attack. Explosive material weighing 6-8 kilograms has been used in the attack.

Three-day mourning has been announced in the province. The national flag will fly half mast in mourning.
