KARACHI (92 News) – The secretary of boards and universities at Sindh’s education department has said that the Intermediate and Matriculation exams will be held according to schedule. The Matric board issued a notification announcing that the exams would begin March 16. The exam schedule will not postponed and directed to provide admit cars and schedule to all the students on time. Meanwhile, the private schools association has a problem with that. Schools in Sindh have been shut down over coronavirus fears and are scheduled to reopen on March 16 (Monday). “There isn’t enough time for schools to prepare the admit cards, according to the association.” It was also reported that the private school association wants the date to be extended till March 25. Earlier, all educational institutions have been closed across Sindh till March 13 due to fear of spread of coronavirus. Moreover, the exams have been postponed. The Pak-Afghan border remained closed for seven days. Meanwhile, the Pak-Iran border is shut for the last nine days. The number of devotees rose to 2,000 at Taftan’s Qaranteena Centre. The screening of 13,000 people who recently returned from Iran will be done. The federal government has handed over the lists to provinces.
