Maulana Fazl should be tried under Article 6 for conspiracy against govt: PM

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has announced on Friday that JUI-F chief Fazlur Rehman should be tried for high treason under Article 6 of his conspiracy statement against incumbent government. Speaking to the senior journalists in an informal discussion, the prime minster said that the JUI-F chief had accepted that his sit-in was conspiracy against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government. “A fair investigation should be launched into the statement of JUI-F chief. We should know that who assured JUI-F chief about the downfall of PTI government,” he added.
Those who commit acts of corruption are afraid of army
The prime minister further mentioned that those who commit acts of corruption are afraid of army. “I am neither corrupt nor making money illegally,” he maintained. “Government and military are on same page,” PM Khan rejected rumours of any differences between two. Neither I am a corrupt man nor make money from illegal means. There is anarchy between opposition parties, they are afraid and that’s why giving useless statements of toppling the government.” To a question form journalists, the premier said that the army is with him and called opposition parties as ‘political mafia’.
Jahangir Tareen, Khusro Bakhtiar clean chit in sugar, flour crisis
To a question of sugar, flour crisis in the country, the premier said that Names of Minister for National Food Security Khusro Bakhtiar and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Jahangir Tareen are not in the flour crisis report. “According to an initial investigation report Jahangir Tareen, Khusro Bakhtiar not involved behind the flour crisis,” PM tells journalists. There is a mafia present everywhere in the country which controls prices, he said.
Recovering money is responsibility of courts, institutions
PM Khan said that the political mafias have no care of inflation but only tension about themselves. He added that the opposition is talking about to end government for gathering people. “The recovery of money from corrupts are responsibility of courts and accountability institutions,” he explained.
Lowest salary of world as prime minister
“I have lowest salary in the world as prime minister. I am only dependent on my salary. I did not get justice from PEMRA on fake news even being as a prime minister,” Imran Khan said. He mentioned that they have removed reservations raised by the ally parties.
Govt introducing laws for election reforms
The prime minister said that the government is introducing laws for election reforms through which electronic voting and biometric system will be made compulsory. He further said that Senate elections will not be conducted through secret balloting and the Senate election law of show of hands will be introduced.
Hike in electricity prices
Commenting over the possible hike in electricity prices, PM Khan assured that the government will not increase the electricity prices and hoped that all matters will be reached with IMF team over the hike in power price matter.
