Maulana Fazlur Rahman calls on Asif Zardari in London

LONDON (92 News) – JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman called on PPP co-chairman Asif Zardari in London on Tuesday. He advised Asif Ali Zardari to meet the prime minister. He said that all disputed issues should be resolved after meeting Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. Maulana Fazlur Rahman said that the democratic system should not be closed under the garb of Panama disclosures. He said that political links did not end. Former president Asif Zardari did not rule out a meeting with Maulana Fazlur Rahman. He said that the PPP was being victimized politically. "The PPP has always protected the democratic values." He said that he did not feel any hesitancy in meeting Nawaz Sharif.  "We are deeply looking into the situation and will not let anyone derail democracy," he maintained. The PPP co-chairman said that he would consult the party leaders with regard to the meeting.
