November 5, 2019
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed has predicted that Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman is going back to home after ending his sit-in. In his latest video message on Twitter, the minister claimed that the matter of JUI-F’s sit-in will be resolved within two days. He added that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led government will complete its five-year tenure. Sheikh Rasheed has said that language being used in JUI-F protest in the pretext of democracy is not in the interest of Pakistan as it is favourable only to India to push back the Kashmir dispute. He also said that anti-Pakistan remarks had been raised in the last four days in the bard of democracy which exposed its motives of launching criticism to weaken the national institutions. The railways minister said that the political parties adopted democratic behaviour to deal with the issues through a ‘political style’ but not to spread anarchy ‘by taking alongside people like Mahmood Achakzai’. Shiekh Rasheed appreciated Prime Minister Imran Khan for tackling the sensitive issue ‘intelligently’. He also said that the federal capital will see peace again in a few days as the ‘matter will be resolved within one or two days” and Maulana Fazlur Rehman is heading back home soon. On Monday, PML-Q president Ch Shujaat Hussain and Ch Pervaiz Elahi met JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman at latter’s residence. They tried to convince JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman who is in the federal capital to seek the resignation of Prime Minister Imran Khan to resolve the issues through talks. Talking to the media, Ch Pervaiz Elahi hoped that the matter would be resolved amicably as he had come for reconciliation. He said that the Dialogue Committee meeting would be held at Pm House at 11am on Tuesday. He said that they inform the prime minister about the situation tomorrow.
