PESHAWAR (92 News) – Khyber Paktunkhwa Minister for Information Shaukat Yousafzai on Sunday has said that Jamiat Ulem-e-Islam-F (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman wants a system in which he has a ministry. Addressing a press conference, the minister also mentioned, “If we stop the accountability process today, everything will be fine. “The country already has been the victim of terrorism,” he added. “It is the responsibility of the government to maintain law and order, a group is trying to create panic in the country. Only money is behind Maulana, can Maulana Fazlur Rehman become Prime Minister if our government goes away?,” he added. The minister warned the JUI-F chief against challenging government’s writ, in a reference to the maulana’s plan to hold Azadi March in Islamabad on October 31. He said the maulana was running a baseless campaign against the government and warned that action would be taken against the JUI-F Ameer’s illegal steps. “We will not let anyone bring stick -wielding people to the streets,” The minister said. He said everyone has the right to protest but government would not allow what he said bloodshed on the roads in the name of protests. Fazlur Rehman said the participants of his Azadi March will converge on Islamabad on October 31. Earlier, JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that fake government should be removed for saving Pakistan as incompetent rulers destroyed the economy of the country. Addressing a press conference, the JUI-F chief said that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has announced to support ‘Azadi March’ and Shehbaz Sharif is not hesitating form the protest. “The anti-government ‘Azadi March’ is a national level movement and not only the opposition parties but the political parties in government alliance have also agreed to this,” he claimed. “There is no hope of change in the economic condition of the country in the next two years,” Maulana Fazlur Rehman said. He also said that the government lodged cases against political rivals to divert focus from economic failure through accountability process.
