PESHAWAR (92 News) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information Shaukat Yousafzai, criticizing the Azadi March, said that Maulana’s caravan comprised of 14,000-15,000 people when it started its journey from Karachi. Talking to the media on Monday, he said that the caravan was just 2,000 when it reached near Interchange. “Fazalur Rehman has achieved his objective. The march has pushed the Kashmir issue behind. Modi also wanted to do the same,” he said. The minister said that there will be complete freedom to hold peaceful protest. He said that artificial shortage of flour is being created. “An abundant quantity of wheat and flour is still present in markets and godowns. Now flour and wheat cannot be sent abroad,” he said. Yousafzai said that no hurdle will be created in the wheat and flour coming from Punjab. “We will take strict action against those who tried to create artificial shortage of wheat in the province,” he said. Earlier, Shaukat Yousafzai said that Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman should do only politics instead of spreading anarchy. “If the JUI-F chief considers rigging in any constituency, we will open that constituency which he wants,” the minister openly offered Maulana Fazl while talking to the journalists. The minister also said that the JUI-F cannot gather fifteen thousand people for the sit-in. He further mentioned that the federal government constituted the committee to negotiate the matter of Azadi March just for the country’s sovereignty.
