May 9 incidents: Court dismisses plea for Shah Mahmood Qureshi's physical remand

RAWALPINDI (92 News) - Additional Sessions Judge Jahangir Ali on Thursday dismissed the plea for 30-day physical remand in the cases pertaining to the May 9 incidents.

After rejection of the plea, Shah Mahmood Qureshi was sent to Adiala jail.

The police had demanded 30-day physical remand of the PTI leader for his involvement in the cases regarding attacks on GHQ, Army Museum and Metro Bus Station.

During the hearing, Shah Mahmood Qureshi started weeping and said that he had fought Pakistan's case at the international level. "I have been clarifying the stance of Pakistan and institutions in the world. Is it justice?" he lamented.
