BAGH, Azad Kashmir (92 News) - Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that rebellion and defiance committed on May 9 cannot be excused as a political protest.

Addressing a ceremony on Tuesday, he said that the attackers had stolen sensitive information and set it on fire. "The sensitive documents will be found from the neighbouring country if the Army Act was not imposed," he maintained.

Rana Sanaullah said that miscreants broke opened the gate of Jinnah House and entered it. "They (miscreants) set it on fire after plundering it. They will have to answer to the rebellion. Should the action be taken under the Traffic Act instead of the Army Act?" he queried.

The minister said that a person attacked the institutions and promoted the politics of hatred and disruption. "The entire country was set on fire under a planning," he added.

He said that the PTI chairman had launched the civil disobedience movement, torched bills, asked the people not to pay bills and attacked the parliament in 2014.
