Media monitoring center to help improve governance

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rashid has on Tuesday said that the media monitoring centre will play an important role in government and media contact.

Addressing the inauguration ceremony of Media Monitoring and Tracking Center in Islamabad on Tuesday, Pervaiz Rashid said that the media monitoring reports will help improve governance and the performance of ministeries will also be monitored.

He said that the establishment of media monitoring center was the need of the hour, adding that the center is equipped with modern facilities.

The minister said that the center will help monitor code of conduct. “Around 80 channels can be monitored through media monitoring center,” he added.
