Media news does not have any relation with scrutiny committee report: Farrukh Habib

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Minister for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib has said that media news does not have any realtion with scrutiny committee report.

Talking to media on Tuesday, he said that PTI is the only political party whose all accounts are clear. “PML-N has not provided record of US$60.4 million and PPP has not given record of US$30.4 million,” he added.

He said that head of scrutiny committee has said to ECP that committee has become inactive. “The head of scrutiny committee has told that cases of PPP and PML-N are of same category. Akbar S Babar got disappointed today. He had raised storm in a tea cup. It is mentioned in scrutiny committee report that Akbar S Babar could not provide any proof,” he maintained.

Farrukh Habib said that there is not any proof of funding from India and Israel. “It is also mentioned in the report that PTI believes in transparency. PTI have won from scrutiny committee report. People who accused PTI of foreign funding they should apologize overseas Pakistanis,” he added.

Federal Minister said that overseas Pakistanis funded to support Prime Minister Imran Khan. “I challenge Bilawal Bhutto and Maryum Nawaz to disclose their accounts. Accountability of both parties will be held. ECP will dissolve scrutiny committee as soon as possible. PTI has submitted application to investigate accounts of all political parties. Maulana Fazlur Rehman took funding from Libya,” he concluded.
