Medical board declares Nawaz Sharif’s reports incomplete

LAHORE (92 News) – The medical board constituted by the Punjab government has declared the reports of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif as incomplete. Sources said that blood reports of Nawaz Sharif have not been provided. The board said that neither information about platelets had been provided nor update about the genetic examination had been provided. Meanwhile, Amjad Pervez advocate, the counsel, has submitted the medical report of Nawaz Sharif in the Lahore High Court in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case. “Nawaz Sharif is suffering from multiple diseases along with the cardiac disorder,” he stated. The court will hear the case on January 20. Earlier, the Punjab Home Department had expressed its reservations about the medical reports of former premier Nawaz Sharif. According to sources, the Punjab Health Department will constitute a medical board to examine the medical reports. Punjab Health Minister Yasmin Rashid asked Nawaz Sharif to get treatment and return to the country. “The government and the judiciary had given the relief to Nawaz Sharif on humanitarian grounds,” she said. The minister said that the government has not been provided with the reports of Nawaz Sharif. She said that no government hospital was being privatized. “Laboratories in government hospitals are not being privatized,” she added. On Tuesday, the Punjab government had rejected the medical report of former premier Nawaz Sharif for extension in his bail. The Punjab government has also raised objections, directing Dr Adnan to send latest medical reports of Nawaz Sharif.
