Medical board recommends angiography of Nawaz Sharif

LAHORE (92 News) – The medical board comprising doctors of Jinnah Hospital on Monday recommended angiography of former deposed prime minister Nawaz Sharif. According to the sources, after Services Hospital, Nawaz Sharif was also recommended of angiography by the Jinnah Hospital.  Allama Iqbal Medical College Principal Dr Arif Tajammul said that all the reports of Nawaz Sharif has been sent to the Interior Ministry. Jinnah Hospital Dr Arif Tajammul also said, “Nawaz will remain in the hospital till further orders from the prison administration. On February 16, Nawaz’s reports have been sent and today a final report will be made.” Jinnah Hospital MS Dr Asim Hameed said that all the routine tests including blood pressure and sugar tests of Nawaz Sharif are being conducted timely. On the other hand, Minister for Health Dr Yasmeen mentioned that she was doctor before as the politician. She informed that Nawaz Sharif was shifted to Service Hospital on her direction but Nawaz returned back to jail on his forcibly. She also termed that Nawaz Sharif was shifted again in Jinnah Hospital on the family consent. The prisoner of Kot Lakhpat is fourth day in Jinnah Hospital. Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif reached hospital to inquire health of big brother, however, the Pakistan Muslim League-N workers welcomed and raised slogans in favour of him. Upon arrival of daughter of Nawaz Sharif Maryam Nawaz, the main door of hospital’s corridor had broken due to the stampede. Meanwhile, the journalists were stopped by the security guards. On the occasion, Shehbaz Sharif said that former prime minister was not satisfied with the medical treatment he was being provided at a local city hospital. Shehbaz met his brother at the Jinnah Hospital for 48 minutes. The Sharif brothers also discussed party matters in detail. The opposition leader also had a detailed talk with the medical board of the hospital during which Shehbaz was briefed on the tests Nawaz underwent recently. “Nawaz is not being looked after properly,” PML-N president claimed. On February 2, Nawaz was shifted to Services Hospital on the advice of a special medical board, which recommended his admission to a multidisciplinary health facility for several checkups.
