Medium flood reported in River Kabul, low in River Sindh; 20 villages inundated in Punjab

PESHAWAR (92 News) - Flood Forecasting Cell Khyber Pakhtunkhwa reported medium flood in River Kabul at Warsak and Nowshera on Monday. As per reports,  River Dir at Punjkokra, River Adezai at Adezai bridge and River Shah Alam at Charsadda bridge are flowing in low flood. Similarly, low flood has been reported at river Gambeela at Gambeela bridge. In Indus, low flood at district Nowshera was reported. The people living on banks and low lying areas around river Kabul have been asked to remain alert during the next few days. Meanwhile, twenty villages in Layyah city near Chashma Barrage have been inundated due to rise in water level in Indus River. Hundreds of acres of land has been eroded due flood water while locals have moved to safer locations.
