Meeting of Shehbaz, Mahmoodur Rasheed cancelled over caretaker setup

LAHORE (92 News) – The provincial governments have taken measures to appoint interim chief ministers before the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz completes its tenure on May 31. According to the details, today’s meeting between Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif with Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Mahmoodur Rasheed regarding caretaker Punjab CM has been cancelled. Awami National Party (ANP) expressed reservations over selection of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s caretaker chief minister Manzor Afridi. It is expected that hulam Ali pasha expected to become as caretaker CM in Sindh. In this regard, Chief Minister Balochistan will meet Sindh Assembly opposition leader Khawaja Izharul Hassan. Again meeting for the interim setup in Balochistan are not concluded fruitful.
