Mehfil-e-Milad held at Nawaz Sharif’s residence in Jati Umra

LAHORE (92 News) – A Mehfil Miladun Nabi (PBUH) was held at the residence of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif in Jati Umra on Friday to show great reverence for the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) on the occasion of Eid Miladun Nabi. Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif, his son Hamza Shahbaz, son of Abbas Sharif, Captain (r) Safdar, son-in-law of the former PM and large number of leaders of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) attended the Mehfil-e-Milad. Prominent Naat Khawan recited Naat to pay respect to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and highlighted his teachings of peace, love and brotherhood. The Mehfil-e-Milad also featured the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran as well as Darood Sharif. After Darood-o-Salam, Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif himself distributed ‘Langar’ (food/meal) among the participants. On the other hand, the road heading towards Sundar from Adda Plot was blocked by placing containers creating problems for the citizens.
