Mehwish Hayat appointed as global charity ambassador

LAHORE (92 News) – International award-winning Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat on Thursday appointed as ambassador of UK-based international humanitarian global charity, Penny Appeal. The renowned and Pakistani leading actress also participated in fundraising at the London Marathon. Mehwish Hayat also said that she will work to improve education system in Pakistan with the help of global charity. It is pertinent to mention here that former model turned actress, Mehwish Hayat is widely regarded as one of the leading film of Pakistan’s entertainment industry. Earlier, Mehwish Hayat disclosed that she had been appointed as the ambassador of Penny Appeal, a global charity organisation. Taking to Twitter, the actress announced that she would work for the charity to raise funds to rebuild five schools in Sukkur, Sindh. “o one of the reasons I am in the UK is to announce that I am joining global charity Penny Appeal as an Ambassador. I will be raising funds to re build 5 schools in Sukkur, Sindh. Please Join me in this quest,” she wrote on Twitter.
