Melody maestro Asad Amanat Ali Khan's death anniversary today

LAHORE (92 News) - Melody maestro and famous member of Patiala family, Asad Amanat Ali Khan's 8th death anniversary is being observed today (Wednesday). The music whizz  was a popular classical, semi-classical and ghazal singer. Hailing from Patiala Gharana, Asad was son of musician Ustad Amanat Ali Khan who was the first music tutor of legendary Indian melody queen Lata Mangeshkar. Asad Amanat Ali Khan died relatively young of a heart attack on 8 April 2007 in London. He was 51 years old.
