Mercury touches 40°C as heatwave enters second day in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) – The temperature touched 40 degree Celsius on the second day of the heatwave in the city on Wednesday. Medical experts have advised the people to follow the precautionary measures, asking them not to come out of their houses unnecessarily. They asked the people to cover their heads. Medical experts urged the people to take yogurt, milk and soft drinks in Sehri and Iftari. According to the Met Office, weather will remain dry in several parts of the country on Wednesday. Rain with windstorm and thunderstorm is likely in Upper Punjab, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. On Thursday, weather will mainly remain dry. Rain with thunderstorm is expected at several places.
