Military Courts’ extension bill to be tabled in Senate today

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – The 28th Constitutional Amendment Bill, 2017 seeking revival of the Military Courts for another two years will be presented in Senate on Wednesday (today).

After the passage from upper House, the bill will be sent to the President for approval.

Earlier the National Assembly passed the bill with two third majority yesterday.

The House also unanimously passed the Pakistan Army (Amendment) Bill, 2007.

National Assembly also adopted a motion for constitution of Parliamentary Committee on National Security.
