Millions of Muslims gathered at Maidan-e-Arafat for Waqoof

MAKKAH (92 News) – Millions of Hujjaj from across the world gathered to perform main ritual of Hajj 'Waqoof-e-Arafat' in Maidan-e-Arafat on Sunday. Millions of Muslims from across the world who had gathered in Mina for Hajj rituals moved to Arafat after sunrise. The Hajj pilgrims will offer Zohar and Asar prayers together and listen to "Hajj Khutba" at Masjid-e-Nimra. They will stay in Arafat till sunset spending the day in prayers. Waqoof-e-Arafat on 9th of Zil Hajjah is the main ritual of Hajj. Hundreds of thousands of Muslims from across the world thronged Mina from Makkah as Hajj rituals began Saturday. The Hajj pilgrims offered their Zuhar, Asr, Maghrib, Isha and Fajar prayers at Mina and move to Arafat after sunrise. They will stay in Arafat till sunset spending the day in prayers and repenting on their sins. The stay at Arafat on 9th of Zil Hijjah is the main ritual of Hajj. President Mamnoon Hussain, Religious Affairs Minister Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, and other dignitaries have also arrived in Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj.
