PESHAWAR (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has warned that a minister not attending the office will lose his ministry, directing the ministers to work from dawn to dusk. Addressing a ceremony after inaugurating a shelter home on Friday, he said that he had not heard anyone talking about making Pakistan a welfare state. “No one has tried to change the system. About 40 percent people are living below the poverty line,” he added. He said that the former prime minister had wasted Rs 350 million on travel. “The PML-N got support of development funds to win the elections.” The prime minister said that there is a philosophy behind selling buffaloes. “I was termed Taliban Khan when talked about holding dialogues with Taliban. Now the US seeking cooperation from Pakistan for talks with Taliban,” he maintained. He announced to introduce the local government system in the tribal areas as well. The prime minister said that Peshawar would become a hub of tourism. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan held meetings separately with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan and Governor Shah Farman. They discussed the matters of the province and merger of the FATA. He also presided over a meeting of the provincial cabinet where ministers briefed him about the 100-day plan and development projects.
