June 8, 2019
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Political Affairs Naeemul Haque has said that a large number of VIPs and ministers are still promoting the VIP culture by having police squads. In his tweet on Saturday, the PTI leader also said that the VIP culture is against the directives of the premier. He also asked the current ministers to stop this practice. “A large number of VIPs and Ministers are still promoting the VIP culture by having police squads accompany them everywhere . It is against the directives of the Prime Minister. Police squads are allowed to only those who face a real threat to their lives. This practice must stop,” Naeemul Haque said.
Sheikh Rasheed terms Naeemul Haque as ‘sick’
Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed has called Naeem ul Haque ‘sick’ after he criticised the VIP protocol taken by some VIPs and ministers. To a question about Naeem ul Haque’s remarks with journalists, the railways minister said, “Naeem ul Haque is sick. Pray for him.” It is pertinent to mention here that the PTI had announced to adopt simplicity and austerity policy when it came to power. However, the incumbent took many practical steps and tried to deduct the expenses but still some government representatives are using the VIP culture same like previous governments.
