Minor dead, 20 injured in blast near Imambargah in Karachi

KARACHI (92 News) – The sound of a blast is heard near Liaquatabad no. 4 area of Karachi. According to police sources, the blast happened near Capital 5 Imambargah Dar Abbas. At least 20 people, including women and children, have reportedly been injured in the blast while a 1.5-year-old child has died, rescue sources said. The minor has been identified as Faraz. According to details, unidentified people threw a hand grenade near the Imambargah. The security officials have reached the scene. The injured are being shifted to nearby hospital for treatment. The police cheif said that investigations are underway. Security arrangements will also be reviewed.
