Minor domestic worker tortured to death in Lahore's Defence area

LAHORE (92 News) - A minor domestic worker was tortured to death by house owner in Lahore's Defence area on Tuesday.

According to police, 12-year-old Kamran and 6-year-old Rizwan worked at the house of a citizen named Nasrullah. Both children were tortured by the owners. Signs of torture were found on the body of 6-year-old Rizwan, on which the hospital staff informed the police. Police arrested five accused including Nasrullah.

According to police, the two brothers from Karachi had been working at the house of a citizen named Nasrullah for the past one year. Nasrullah, his wife Shabana and son Mahmoud were arrested on charges of torture, while Abu al-Hassan and Hina escaped.

The detainees confessed that the children were tortured for eating items from the fridge. A case was registered by the police and the body was shifted to the morgue for autopsy.
