Minor killed, 16 injured in Jamrud blast on wedding ceremony

JAMRUD (92 News) – A minor child was killed and 16 others injured in a hand grenade blast at a wedding ceremony in Khyber Agency’s Jamrud area on Monday. As per details, the ill-fated incident took place in Khyber Agency’s Jamrud area when some unknown armed assailants hurled a hand grenade at the wedding ceremony, killing a seven-year-old boy and injuring 16 others. The attackers managed to flee from the scene. The injured people were shifted to Hayatabad Medical Complex for medical assistance. Following the blast, the security forces carried out a search operation in the area, the unidentified men opened firing on Khasadar Force, in retaliation an accused injured but the accused managed to flee.
