Mir Hasil Bizenjo laid to rest in Khuzdar's Naal area

KHUZDAR (92 News) – Senator Mir Hasil Bizenjo was laid to rest in Khuzdar's Naal area on Friday. Thousands of people from different walks of life, including politicians, attended his funeral. Later, he was laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard. Earlier on Friday, the Senate and National Assembly offered Fateha for National Party chairman Mir Hasil Khan Bizenjo who passed away after a prolonged battle with lung cancer. The House paid rich tributes to Bizenjo for his contribution to strengthen democracy in the country. PML-N MNA Khawaja Asif paid tribute to the principled politics of Hasil Bizenjo, telling the Speaker to obtain the Lower House's consent to postpone the session in light of the politician's passing. Senator Mushahidullah Khan said that those people who do not deviate from their principles never die but always remain alive in the hearts of the people. PPP leader Sherry Rehman said that Bizenjo lived according to his terms just like he said he would. "People like me, women, were always provided encouragement and support by Bizenjo," she said. The parliamentarians also expressed sorrow with the family of Hasil Bizenjo. The National Assembly session was postponed in his memory.
