Mob lynching to be dealt with full severity of law: PM
ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has taken notice of mob lynching incident in Mian Channu area of Khanewal District.
In a tweet on Sunday, he directed the Inspector General of Punjab Police to submit report on action taken against perpetrators involved in lynching and police officials who failed in their duty.
We have zero tolerance for anyone taking the law into their own hands & mob lynchings will be dealt with full severity of the law. Have asked Punjab IG for report on action taken against perpetrators of the lynching in MIan Channu & against the police who failed in their duty.

The Prime Minister said the government has zero tolerance for anyone taking the law into his hands and mob lynching will be dealt with full severity of the law.
Meanwhile, Minister for Human Rights Shireen Mazari also condemned Mian Chunnu’s incident. “Such acts cannot be tolerated,” she added.
The mob lynching of a man in MIan Channu is condemnable & cannot be allowed to go unpunished. Punjab govt must immed take action against the police that watched it happen & the perpetrators. Laws exist - the police must enforce these laws & not allow mobs to rule the day.

On the other hand, Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry has also said in a message on Twitter that he several pointed towards extremism in our education system. “Incidents like Sialkot and Mian Chunnu are the results of education system which is imposed since decades. This is also problem of implementation of law, decline of society, school, police station and rostrum. If reforms are not brought in these then be prepared for huge destruction,” he maintained.
