Mobile phone service to be suspended on Muharram 9 & 10

KARACHI (92 News) – the federal government has accepted the application of the provincial government to suspend the mobile phone service in eight cities of the province on Muharram 9 and 10. The federal government has ordered the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority to suspend the mobile phone service in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Jacobabad, Mirpur Khas, Khairpur, Shikarpur and Larkana. The mobile phone service will remained suspended from 9am to 9pm. In sensitive areas, the signals and Internet devices will remain suspended from the start and end of the mourning procession.
