ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Former Prime Minister Imran Khan says that the Modi government changed the geographical status of The Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) on August 5.

On Friday, Chairman PTI Imran Khan said in a Twitter message on the Indian initiative of August 5, 2019 that the initiative of the Modi government is a violation of the United Nations Security Council resolutions. Under the Geneva Convention, the Modi government's move is a war crime. Modi believed that this move would crush the spirit of Kashmiris. But the resistance of the Kashmiris gained strength and it continues to grow stronger.

Imran Khan said that the international community's silence on India's clear violation of international law and UN resolutions is condemnable.

Imran further said that we are asked to raise our voices against the violations of human rights which are pointed out by the powerful forces in the international community but when the massive violations of human rights at the hands of India and Occupied Kashmir. When it comes to the issue, these forces seem completely silent due to their strategic military alliance with the Indian market.
