Modi govt decides to remove Urdu as sole official language

NEW DELHI (92 News) - Another anti-Kashmiri move as Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led fascist government in New Delhi has decided to remove Urdu as sole official language in Indian illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). According to the KMS, the Indian Cabinet on Wednesday approved a bill under which Kashmiri, Dogri and Hindi, apart from the existing Urdu and English, will be the official languages in the territory. The sole objective is of the move is to harm the Urdu language, which has been the official language of the territory for decades and most of the literature is in Urdu. It is also aimed at introducing Hindi culture and literature in the territory. Announcing the decision at a news briefing, Indian Union Minister, Prakash Javadekar, said the Jammu and Kashmir Official Languages Bill, 2020 will be introduced in Parliament in the upcoming Monsoon Session. He did not divulge further details saying that the bill will be debated in Parliament soon. The Bill received the Cabinet nod on Wednesday at a meeting presided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
