Moeed Yusuf says world should contact Afghan govt

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on National Security Moeed Yusuf said that the world should contact the Afghan government presently.

Addressing a press conference at Foreign Office on Tuesday, he said that the consequences would not be fine if the world did not play the constructive role. "It is our need to establish peace in Afghanistan. It is a humanitarian, but political issue," he added.

He said that Pak-Uzbek Commission is vital for taking steps against terrorism. "Pakistan and Uzbekistan share common position over Afghanistan," he added.

Moeed Yusuf said that the Pak-Uzbek Commission is very important with regard to provision of training of anti-narcotics and calamities.
