Mohsin Dawar had supported drone attacks in past: Murad Saeed

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – Federal Minister for Communication and Postal Services Murad Saeed claimed that Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) leader and MNA Mohsin Dawar had supported drone attacks in past and Dawar should explain it in the assembly. Speaking on the floor of National Assembly on Monday, the minister said that Mohsin Dawar used to give statements in favor of US drone strikes in North Waziristan. Shedding light on yesterday’s attack on a check post in North Waziristan, Murad Saeed said that Mohsin Dawar incited his PTM workers to carry out the assault. Referring to the Constitution of Pakistan and the right of freedom of speech, Saeed said, “Those two people Mohsin Dawar and Ali Wazir have taken oath on this constitution which bars all citizens from speaking anything which hurts the integrity and defence of the country, yet they speak ill of the state’s institutions.”
NDS and RAW working together in Afghanistan
He said Afghan SIM was used in Charsada attack, adding that NDS and RAW are working together in Afghanistan. He said many causalities were seen because of bad policies in past. He said the footages of check post incident are available and those two members have taken oath to be loyal with Pakistan. The PTI leader said Mohsin Dawar should explain the incident in assembly otherwise he will open his mouth about the past incidents. He said people were incited on ethnic grounds and broke the constitution of Pakistan.
Five soldiers injured by firing of PTM’s group: ISPR
A day earlier, five army soldiers were injured in firing opened by a group of Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) while attacking Khar Kamar check post, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Sunday. According to the ISPR, a group led by MNA Mohsin Javed and MNA Ali Wazir assaulted Kharqamar check post at the North Waziristan tribal district. “They wanted to exert pressure for the release of suspected terrorists’ facilitator arrested the other day. Troops at the check post exercised maximum restraint in the face of provocation and direct firing on the post,” the ISPR said. It also said that the attackers came with a motive to release some suspected terrorists, however, three attackers were killed and 10 sustained injuries in the exchange of fire, ISPR said. It added that due to the firing of the group as many as five soldiers also got injured.
