LAHORE (92 News) - The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), in an application, opposed the immediate indictment of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif and others.

The court reserved the verdict on the application. The special prosecutor contended that the proceedings for declaring the absconders as proclaimed offenders should be initiated.

On the other hand, Amjad Pervaiz advocate continued the arguments on the interim bail plea of Shehbaz Sharif. He contended that no witness had levelled the allegation against the accused.

The court sought arguments on the plea for acquittal of the accused on the next hearing. Mismanagement in security arrangements were also witnessed. The court staff, lawyers, media and clients were stopped from entering court.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz also appeared in court for the hearing of the Ashiana Housing Society scandal.
