Money laundering case: LHC orders to release Yousaf Abbas on bail

LAHORE (92 News) – The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday ordered to release Yousaf Abbas, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s nephew, on bail in the money laundering case. Hearing on the bail plea of Maryam Nawaz's cousin nephew, the LHC granted him post-arrest bail and directed to submit two surety bonds woth of Rs10 million. Earlier, an accountability court extended judicial remand of Yousaf Abbas for 14-days in Chaudhry Sugar Mills case. During the hearing, Yousaf was presented before court. The NAB prosecutor pleaded with court to give more judicial remand. The court directed to the investigation officer for filing a reference as soon as possible The NAB stated that the reference of Chaudhry Sugar Mills case is in the final phase and after approval of NAB chairman will be submitted. Yousaf Abbas was arrested in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.
