Money laundering case: Monis Elahi's interim bail extended till July 14

LAHORE (92 News) - Former minister Monis Elahi's interim bail in th emoney laundering case was extended till July 14.

Moonis Elahi and Secretary Punjab Assembly Muhammad Khan Bhatti appeared in a banking court and marked their attendance.The court asked when the FIR was filed against them.

The investigating officer informed the court that notices have been issued to the shareholders of the company and others, after which the role of Moonis Elahi will be determined.

"How many bank accounts have you taken so far? How many witness statements were recorded?" court questioned.

The investigating officer informed that 45% of the records have been received, the banks are losing 10-year-old records so there are problems.

The court directed the investigating officer to complete the investigation by July 14.
