Money laundering case: Shehbaz Sharif appears before NAB

LAHORE (92 News) – Opposition Leader in National Assembly (NA) Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday has appeared before National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in money laundering and assets beyond income cases. The strict security measures have been taken to avoid any untoward incident on the appearance of the Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) president. Yesterday, PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif has decided to appear before the NAB in the money laundering and assets beyond income cases. Sources said that Shehbaz Sharif had completed consultation with his legal team. Workers will also be called to gather outside the NAB office. On June 3, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had re-summoned Shehbaz Sharif on June 9. Earlier, the Lahore High Court (LHC) granted pre-arrest bail of Opposition Leader in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif in an assets and money laundering case till June 17. The LHC ordered the PML-N president to submit surety bond worth of Rs0.5 million. He reached in the LHC in a private vehicle with his driver. The court granted the opposition leader interim bail till June 17. He left for home after the pre-arrest bail.
