LAHORE (92 News) – The new conflict has been emerged when the government ally Pakistan Muslim League-Q (PML-Q) leader Moonis Elahi expressed his reservations about new local bodies system in Punjab. In his statement, Moonis Elahi on Friday disagreed with the new local body system in the Punjab. He took his Twitter and posted that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Punjab can’t be compared as the difference in size of population is huge. “KP and Punjab can’t be compared. The difference in size of population is huge. #PTI needs to rethink strategy of copy and pasting KP formula,” he tweeted. “We observed successful experience of this model in KP if amendments in Punjab Bill are not other wise,” he added. In another tweet, the PML-Q leader said, “Several inherent faults. Starting with taking already a significant number of 4000+ units ( union councils) to 24000 + village councils / panchaits . This will increase your administrative expense 6 times. Minimum of 8 billion every year wasted on salaries and expenses.” Later, PML-Q leader Moonis Elahi telephoned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) stalwart Jahangir Tareen. They discussed local body bill and other important matters. According to the sources, both the leaders were agreed to work collectively and decided to run the matters with consultations.
