More 141 dengue cases reported in Islamabad, total patients reach 2,089

ISLAMABAD (92 News) – As many as 141 people fell prey to dengue fever during the last 24 hours, increasing the total patients to over 2,089.

The condition of eight patients is said to be critical in Rawalpindi.

The Islamabad district health officer said that the number of dengue patients is increasing daily. He said that 1,310 people had contracted dengue in rural areas and 779 in urban areas. Six people have so far lost their lives due to dengue fever.

Meanwhile, more than 80 cases of dengue were reported in Rawalpindi during 24 hours. The total number of dengue cases have exceeded to 1,500 in the city.
