More 37 cases of dengue reported in federal capital during last 24 hours

ISLAMABAD (92 News) - Dengue mosquito attacks continue in Islamabad. In the last 24 hours, 37 more people fell victim to dengue.

According to the DHO report, the total number of people affected by dengue has increased to 4, 979. The number of people who have died due to dengue in the federal capital is 11. During the last 24 hours, 19 cases of dengue were reported in rural areas. The total number of dengue cases in rural areas rose to 2,880 whereas 18 cases of dengue were reported in urban areas.

The total number of dengue cases in urban areas has increased to 2,099 and 22 dengue patients were admitted to PIMS Hospital. Two patients were admitted to the polyclinic hospital during 24 hours. Dengue virus was confirmed in 8 people who came to private laboratories in the city.
